today is a day of writing. thus far, i've been collecting scraps and drawing a blueprint of the big picture. this is akin to a railroad digging a tunnel from both sides of the mountain. i have to dig that last part where they are going to meet in the middle. now i've got to consolidate information into viable chapters.

i expect my days to be divided among these activities:

• continuing to gather new information via meetings and interviews
• grokking what i've got electronically from blogs, journals, links, books
• create both an electronic and paper file
  
• planning each chapter & mind mapping it
• write draft
• find graphics, get permissions
• get feedback from others ("the team")
• revise & close for now

essentially, the chapter is becoming my new working unit. one chapter at a time....
